Only half an hour’s drive away you reach the coast with its beautiful beaches, the famous seaside resort of Torrevieja or Elche, which is famous for its beautiful palm park. This palm park (Palmeral de Elche) is the largest in Europe and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Around Hondón de las Nieves there are beautiful vineyards, almond trees, olive trees, and a very variety of flora and fauna. Various walking routes have been set out in this beautiful area. The area is also very suitable for a mountain bike tour or a Jeep safari.
